David Dean’s journey is a masterclass in evolution—a blend of creativity, connection, and a relentless drive to make a difference. With over 25 years in marketing and advertising, he launched his career in the electric pulse of New York City, wielding a Media Studies degree from Hunter College. At The MWW Group, he honed his PR chops, then dove headfirst into the nightlife hospitality world, branding and managing venues with a flair that turned heads and set trends. But in 2008, family beckoned him to Savannah, GA, where he swapped urban buzz for a fresh challenge: leading sales teams for FOX and ABC under LIN Media and Hearst Corporation. There, he sharpened his edge in multi-screen marketing, laying the groundwork for a purpose yet to unfold.

In 2016, David’s path took a defining turn into legal marketing—a shift that felt like coming home. Co-founding a company focused on mass torts, he threw himself into the fray, crisscrossing the country to attend legal conferences and forge attorney relationships. “I found my passion,” he reflects, “knowing I was helping real people.” That spark of purpose echoes the journeys of LS5 teammates Sam Luzania, who channeled a cult survivor’s resilience into advocacy, and Clarence Greff, who traded Jiu-Jitsu ambitions for legal intake tenacity. In 2020, David joined forces with them at LS5, alongside his now-wife Rachael, brother-in-law Clarence, and “brother from another mother” Sam.

Together, they’re unstoppable. David’s marketing genius amplifies Sam’s vision of survivor-centered justice and Clarence’s operational grit, transforming LS5 into an industry beacon. Their shared commitment—to excellence, to impact—ensures every survivor’s story is not just heard, but honored.
